The Great Divine Director is the Manu of the Seventh Root Race and a member of the Karmic Board. He gained his ascension before the event, called “The Fall of Man.” The Great Divine Director was the teacher of Lord Maitreya, the Maha Chohan, Saint Germain and Kuthumi and many other Ascended Masters. He assisted Ascended Master Lady Nada with her ascension, 2,700 years ago.

At inner levels he is known as Master “R.” He is the one who founded the House of Rakoczy.

It was the Great Divine Director who received the Ascended Master Jesus, giving him the mantras, “I AM the Resurrection and the Life of Perfection,” and “I AM the Ascension in the Light.” That was the entire contact between Jesus and the Great Divine Director. This mantra formed the basis for Jesus' mission.

When Saint Germain first conceived the idea of putting forth this teaching, he explained to the Master, called the Great Divine Director, that he had two people in embodiment (Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Ballard), whom he felt were strong enough to carry his message. The Great Divine Director asked him if he were certain of this. Saint Germain replied, “I shall try it out, and we shall see!”

The Great Divine Director uses the “Cave of Light,” a retreat in India, as his retreat. He gave many discourses to the students of the I AM Activity.

The Cave of Light

The Cave of Light is the retreat of the Great Divine Director in the heart of the Himalayas in India. His second spiritual home of Light is the Rakoczy Mansion in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. Chananda is the hierarch of the Cave of Light, which is located in the mountain behind his retreat, the Palace of Light.

Purposes of the Cave of Light

The Great Divine Director is a great initiator on the path of the Ascension, and one of the purposes of the Cave of Light is to conduct activities to prepare and accelerate candidates for the ascension. Here, the Great Divine Director uses his authority to purify the four lower bodies of advanced initiates of a portion of their remaining karma, to give them purified vehicles to render a cosmic service in the world of form prior to their ascension.
